​​​​​​​After devouring 100 dunums of barley north of Qamishlo, fire extinguished - UPDATED

With the help of the people, the emergency teams managed to put out the fire that broke out today at the border between the city of Nusaybin in Bakur Kurdistan and the city of Qamishlo, and that resulted in the burning of about 100 dunums of the barley crop belonging to the people of Qamishlo.

The fire started by the Turkish border guards in the dense herbs and thorns on the borders, expanded between the city of Nusaybin in Bakur Kurdistan and the city of Qamishlo and headed towards the neighborhoods north of Qamishlo.

The Qamishlo firefighting brigades and hundreds of people rushed to the border to put out the fire and prevent its expansion and access to the city's neighborhoods. After a great effort and joint work, they managed to put the fire out after it burned nearly 100 dunums of the barley crop belonging to the people of Qamishlo.
