The Office of External Relations in Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on Sunday, released a statement to public opinion on the new UN envoy to Syria, Geir O. Pedersen, and stressed the importance of the participation (AA) in international forums.
The statement was read by Kamal Akef, a spokesman for the Office of External Relations in North and East Syria's Autonomous Administration, in the relations office of the city of Qamishlo in Al-Jazeera region, in the presence of dozens of members and administrators of Democratic Autonomous Administration DAA.
The statement said:
We follow in detail the campaign launched by the United Nations, which includes new diplomatic and political efforts through the new UN envoy to Syria, Mr. Geir O. Pedersen, which is holding meetings with political parties and discuss the formation of committees for the preparation of the Constitution where it seems that the efforts will be in the next stage to find a new project, Mr. Pedersen for his vision of a solution in Syria.
We at the Office of External Relations for Autonomous Administration appreciate the efforts of Mr. Geir O. Pedersen's vision of the administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces. We believe that it represents the reality and we hope that this vision will develop in practical terms given the political will of the components of North and East Syria as an important part of the solution and stability in Syria. But under the United Nations move now there seem to be some questions that are particularly questionable regarding (AA) and its position in this context; So we emphasize that any process to exclude the components of the north and east of Syria and their will of (AA) will not be in the service of the Syrian solution nor will there be any solution once the previous policies are followed by excluding the will of the components of north and east of Syria will not reflect the true painting of diversity in Syria and sacrifices have been presented over the years by the people of our region especially in the war on terror, Where the number of martyrs nearly ten thousand martyrs if these sacrifices are not seen and treated as a responsibility of the solution and stability and the development of a democratic solution, it will not be a moral position and therefore any outputs are done without the participation of (AA),we are not bound at all
As Autonomous Administration in North and East of Syria and the components of the region we believe in a new democratic Syria, decentralized, pluralism and we struggle by all means to achieve this in partnership with all the Syrian parties we have been able to protect the region and by making sacrifices and insisting on creating the ground for a democratic solution. Our regions have become the most stable areas in comparison with the rest of the Syrian regions and we have achieved a real development of marginalized social reality divided by some parties. We have been able to establish a multi-communal society in which to live together and to participate in management and decision-making among all the components in our region - Arabs, Kurds, Syriac, Assyrians, Armenians, Turkmen, Circassians and others.
