Statement to the public

On Wednesday, 9/10/2019, the regions of the Autonomous Administration Northern and Eastern of Syria were attacked by the Turkish regime. This brutal attack resulted in the death of a number of civilian martyrs and dozens of wounded from the north and east of Syria from all components.

The attacks also included a number of places of worship and churches in Qamishli, Ain Issa, Tal- Abyad and Ras al-Ain.

This indiscriminate shelling of safe cities has displaced thousands of families from their homes and dispersed them in large swathes of the countryside, sleeping in the wilderness all the night.

We in the Autonomous Administration of North and East condemn this blatant barbaric attack aimed at occupying and demographic change in our regions, at the same time, we call on the international community, the Security Council, the League of Arab States, all human rights organizations and the media to show these criminal acts to the whole world, to shoulder their moral responsibilities towards humanity and to stop these attacks on unarmed civilians.
