The assassinations continue to target the well-known national figures in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, who refuse to be tools in the hands of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, led by ISIS.
After defeating ISIS in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, the hands of treachery try to harm the people of the region and its gains, by targeting well-known and national figures in the region. Mercenaries and followers of Turkish intelligence assassinated the leader of the Democratic Union Party, Issa Hasso, in the city of Qamishlo on 30 July 2013, as well as the Public Relations Officer of the “Civil Raqqa Council” Omar Alloush on the 14th of March 2018 at his home in Girê Spi/ Tal Abyad.
In the context of these brutal operations, gunmen targeted the head of the “Al-Bakir clan committee” in the tribal council, and a spokesman for Okaidat tribe in Deir Al-Zour Suleiman Al-Qassar, nicknamed “Abu Naim”, in his house located in the village of Al-Kassar in Basira district in the countryside of Deir Al-Zour.
After the targeting this morning, "Abu Naim" was transferred to a hospital in the area, but he lost his life.
Abu Naim was known as a national figure, and in several of his meetings with the media, he emphasized foreign interference, especially Turkish, in Syria.
Of note, similar assassination attempts took place in the region earlier, where member of the Future Syria Party, Hudhaifa Al-Ahmad, was subjected to an assassination attempt by ISIS mercenaries in the Al-Shuhail area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on the 27th of last May.
On the 2nd of November 2018, Bashir Fasil Al-Huwaidi, the sheikh of the Al-Afadleh tribe, the largest of the Raqqa clans, was assassinated by shooting in his car near the Al-Nour Mosque, east of the city of Raqqa.
All these assassinations come in the context of a systematic war against the people of the region and its national symbols, in an attempt to destabilize its security and stability, and create discord between the people, especially Turkish intelligence, which we revealed in our agency a few days ago and through interviews we conducted with a number of Turkish intelligence agents, that its goal is to assassinate well-known figures in the region.
