8 citizens killed in attack western Germany

German police announced that 8 people were killed and 5 others got injured in two shootings in the town of Hanau near the city of Frankfurt.

German police explained that the attack occurred at dawn today, and said that the number of perpetrators of the attack is still unknown and stated in its statement: "8 people were killed by rare fire inside two hookah bars, and 5 others were wounded in critical condition."

The police indicated that the suspects involved in opening fire on the two bars were still at large.

The first incident took place in a café in central Hanau, killing 3 people, the second targeted a café in the Kesselstadt neighborhood, and killed 5 others, according to local media.
