7 mercenaries killed in occupied Sherawa district

Seven mercenaries were killed and their vehicles were destroyed during a series of operations of the Afrin Liberation Forces HRE in Sherawa district of Afrin canton.

The operations of HRE are part of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age, which began after Turkey and its mercenary gangs in Afrin canton on March 18,2018.

The troops said in a written statement:

"On 27 September, our forces carried out a sniper operation targeting the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the outskirt of the village of Anabkeh in the district of Shara, during which one mercenary was killed.

On 28 September, our forces carried out a series of military operations simultaneously targeting mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in several villages of Sherawa district.

In the area between the villages of Kafr Nebo and Burj Haidar, our forces carried out an attack on Turkish occupation mercenaries in the area, where fierce clashes broke out between our fighters and mercenaries that lasted more than 15 minutes, during which three mercenaries were killed and two others were injured, and two military mercenaries were damaged.

In the area between the villages of Barada and Kafr Nebo, our forces targeted during qualitative operation point for the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the village, where they were destroyed and two mercenaries were killed.

Our forces also carried out a sniper attack on a gang of Turkish occupation mercenaries in the village of (Gundê Mezin), during which one mercenary was killed.

During the period from 26 to 28 September, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries bombarded civilian areas in the villages of the Shahba areas (Samuqa, the outskirt of al-Shahba dam, Tal- Mdiq) with mortar shells and artillery, causing material damage to the homes and farms of the people.
