6000 teachers in Raqqa see training on new examination system

The Education and Learning Committee of Raqqa Civil Council has opened a course on the examination system with the attendance of 6 000 theachers

The Education and Learning Committee of Raqqa Civil Council opened the training for teachers according to the decision of the Education and Learning Board to evaluate teachers instead of written exams.

Regarding the matter, the co-chair of the Education and Learning Committee of Raqqa, Zuleykha Abdi, said: "There was a decision not to open summer education this year, but after we met with the Board of Education of North and East Syria, new decisions were made, one of which is, instead of students undergoing exams, they will be evaluated by their teachers."

Zuleykha said that in this way, the Education and Learning Committee in Raqqa opened 16 education centers for 6,000 teachers who will be trained on 2 sections related to the new evaluation system.

Zuleya Ebdi continued: "During the war, the schools of Raqqa and its villages were given UNICEF materials, but this year the subjects of culture and ethics was assigned instead of the subject of sociology. Therefore, they will educate 80 sociology teachers in the subjects of culture and ethics.”

Zuleykha pointed out the role of Raqqa teachers in the success of the educational field and called on them to strengthen this work more.
