2nd batch of aid distributed to Idlib IDPs in Raqqa

Al-Raqqa Civil Council, in coordination and cooperation with the World Food Program and a relief organization, today distributed 196 food baskets to the Idlib displaced persons, who came to Al-Raqqa, and it was distributed in the headquarters of the Idlib IDP Council in the city of Raqqa.

The food basket, distributed to all families, includes a set of food, legumes and vegetable oils. This assistance comes as an initiative by the Civil Raqqa Council to cover part of the needs of the displaced.

In this context, the displaced person from Jabal Al-Zawiya, Walid Darwish, who thanked the society and the Raqqa Civil Council for providing assistance to the displaced, spoke of demanding more support, especially for blankets and children's clothing.

Walid Al-Darwish appealed to the Civil Council of Raqqa and the organizations to intensify aid to the displaced, especially at these times, because the displaced people are in poor condition as a result of the difficulties they experienced during the flight of displacement.

It is worth noting that this batch of aid is the second of its kind provided to IDPs from Idlib during this month.
