15 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Syria

Today, the Ministry of Health in the Syrian government announced the registration of 15 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the number of infections to 121, of whom 41 were cured, and 4 died.

The Syrian government’s spokesperson, SANA, reported that the Ministry of Health recorded 15 new infections among Syrians coming to the country, including nine from Kuwait, five from Sudan and one from the Emirates.

The ministry pointed out in its statement that the total number of recorded corona infections in Syria has reached 121 so far, 41 of them have recovered and 4 have died.

Of note, according to the Ministry of Health, no local infection with the virus has been recorded since the beginning of this month, while the first infection with the Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of last March for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month .

The team, which was set up by the government to follow up on the Corona virus, decided to completely abolish the night curfew imposed since Tuesday evening May 26 and to lift the travel ban between the governorates and allow mass transport between them, and extend the opening period of the shops and commercial markets to from eight in the morning until Seven in the evening during the summer.
