This statement issued by the media center of the People Defense Forces, today, Sunday (5 July), that the guerrilla fighters and fighters of the Free Woman Units YJA-Star are offering their military operations against the Turkish occupation army in the framework of the "Hiftanin Battle". In this context "our fighters launched On July 2 at 21:00 and on July 4 at 14:30, attacks on Turkish military units in the vicinity of the ' martyr Yerevan' hill resulted in the killing of two Turkish soldiers.
On July 3 at 12:30 and on July 4 at 10:30, fighters for the Free Women Units targeted enemy soldiers' gatherings in the areas of Tebi Tonel of the Shisdara district with sniper operations that resulted in killing 3 Turkish soldiers.
At 02:30, on Sunday morning, our forces carried out a three-axis attack on Turkish units in the vicinity of the "Dubishk" district, which resulted in killing 4 Turkish soldiers.
Between 06:00 and 07:00, our fighters renewed their attack on Turkish occupation soldiers in the Dubishk, and inflicted painful blows on them, without being able to know the number of dead or injured.
The HPG's statement pointed out to a process of fighting YJA-STAR fighters against the Turkish occupation army, at 6:40 a.m. today, Sunday, targeting a gathering of occupation soldiers in the areas of "Tebe Sor" in the "Cile" area of the Colemêrg region, adding that the operation resulted in “The destruction of 4 trenches and A4 weapons, along with the neutralization of 4 Turkish soldiers. After the operation, the occupation army bombarded the area with artillery and mortars.”
The statement referred to air strikes of the Turkish warplanes on the legitimate defense areas (Medya), as follows:
On July 4 at 10:00, Turkish warplanes bombed Dere in the Afashin district, and at 13:00, Dirar in the Matina region witnessed a similar bombardment. At 15:00 o'clock, the lands of the villages of “Koshin” and “Kolet” in the area of “Xwakurk” were subjected to aerial bombardment, "without causing any injuries among the fighters of guerrillas during these bombings."
