Turkish President Erdogan, during a meeting with the heads of branches of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) on July 26, again threatened to launch attacks on northern and eastern Syria. The Turkish occupation army began to mobilize its military forces on the Turkish-Syrian border, and intensified its movements off the cities of Gire Spi / Tal Abyad and Serekaniye.

The inhabitants of Amouda district in al-Jazeera region make clear that the Turkish president's statements to occupy northern and eastern Syria are not to protect their national security but to restore the Ottoman dream.
The citizen Abed Mohammed said,"We will defend ourselves according to the principle of legitimate defense
Turkey always claims that its state will establish a safe zone to defend its national security," he said.
Mohammed explained that the peoples of northern and eastern Syria the Kurds, Armenians, Arabs and all components will protect their land and defend themselves according to the principle of legitimate defense.
Mora Zorro said: "Erdogan's statements are always as sudden as he dreamed of his Ottoman grandfather, waking up and threatening our regions. His goal is not only the Kurds but the components of northeastern Syria."
“We will defend our land and follow the path of martyr Zilan, Avista Khabour in Afrin, and Areen Mirkan in Kobani,” she said.
Shahnaz Ibrahim said that Turkey is serious in its threats, and we must struggle to confront the Turkish threats.
