SDF liberated 50% of Hajin Town

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to advance in Hajin Town in Deir ez-Zor, where the fighters have liberated 50% of the town, while IS mercenaries carried out attacks with car bomb.

A military source said that SDF made significant progress on Wednesday in Hajin Town, where it said that the fighters liberated 50% of Hajin, the largest stronghold of IS in Deir ez-Zor.

The source said that at least 25 mercenaries have been killed so far, adding that IS have used car bombs during the attacks, and the fighters have destroyed four cars out of five, and that the fifth has exploded without inflicting damage to the fighters.

The source pointed out that clashes continue between SDF fighters and IS mercenaries, and that SDF fighters are now advancing in the north-west Hajin Town.
