Resistance of July 14 commemorated in Damascus

Tenth of the Kurds in Damascus commemorated the 37th memory of the Resistance of the July 14.

Dozens of residents of the Zorava neighborhood in the Syrian capital Damascus held a ceremony marking the 37th anniversary of the Resistance of July 14.

The commemoration ceremony started with holding a minute of silence, after which a speech was delivered on behalf of the Council of the Movement of Democratic Society, in which all the martyrs of freedom were commemorated, and included excerpts from the struggle of the martyrs of the resistance and the harsh conditions they experienced.

The martyrdom of the martyr Khairi Dermoush was mentioned, which reflects the humility and high morale of Khairi and his comrades despite their heroism and struggle and the sacrifice of their lives for the liberation of the homeland.

At the end of the speech, the attendees  renewed  the covenant to fulfill the goals of all the martyrs of the freedom of Kurdistan, led by the martyrs of July 14 and the covenant on their path to victory and the liberation of all the peoples of the world, and the realization of the rights of the Kurdish people and the oppressed peoples.

The ceremony ends with chanting slogans that glorify the martyrs and commemorate them.
