Kurdish political parties' delegation visiting south Kurdistan meets Change Movement leaders

A delegation of Kurdish political parties, who have been visiting southern Kurdistan since Wednesday, held a meeting with the Movement for Change at the latter's headquarters in al-Suleimaniyah in the framework of achieving common national positions.

The delegation of Rojava parties included Shahoz Hasan, the Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Jamal Sheikh Baqi, the Head of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Mohamed Musa, the Head of the Syrian Kurdish Left Party, Mustafa Mashaykh, the Deputy Head of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria and Jihan Khalil, the Representor of Kongra Star in Kurdistan region,  and the delegation was received by the General Coordinator of the Movement for Change Omar Saed Ali and other officials of the Movement.

Following the meeting at the Movement's headquarters in the center of the city, Shahoz Hasan, the Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), talked to the reporters about the importance of the stage in which Kurdistan is going through in general, and noted, "It is witnessing aggression and occupation by the Turkish state, which is attacking the Kurds everywhere, and this requires solidarity and a common Kurdish position."

Hasan said, "The occupation in Afrin is as if it is in the south of Kurdistan, so wherever it is, we must face it in a unified position."

After his meeting with the Movement for Change, the delegation went to the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to meet with its leaders.

The delegation was political, which included presidents and representatives of most of the Kurdish political parties active in the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria, arrived from Rojava to southern Kurdistan on Wednesday, June 12 to begin meetings with the Kurdish parties, as part of efforts to achieve the unity of the Kurdish class in light of developments witnessed in the region.
