Jubeir: We to monitor how serious Houthis are in implementing peace initiative

Saudi Arabia will monitor how serious the Houthis are in implementing their peace initiative, Saudi Arabia's state minister for foreign affairs said on Wednesday.

The head of the Supreme Political Council of the Houthis, Mahdi al-Mashat, announced "to stop targeting Saudi territory by drones, ballistic missiles, wings and all forms of targeting," after the attacks on September 14, the Khurais oil facility in eastern Saudi Arabia, and the largest refinery in the world in Buqayq, about two hundred kilometers north of Khurais.

"We judge the other parties based on their actions, not their words, so we will see whether they will actually implement the initiative or not," Adel al-Jubeir told a news conference in Riyadh.
