For encouraging the children's role in playing, Jamil Horo Center for Culture and Art in al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo city organized a musical performance for the children, and it was held in the cultural center.

The children received theoretical lessons in the first stage (ABC) and then, they were transferred to the second stage (the practical stage). Moreover, the two stages lasted for five months.

The performance was held after the trainees ended the two stages of playing the lute with the attendance of the trainees' families, the institutions' members and an elite group of Aleppo Artists Union.

During the soiree, the trainees performed popular and folkloric songs of the Afrian and Kurdistan heritages. The beginning started with Kurdistan national anthem's composition (Ay Raqeeb). The performances also included songs offered by the member of Jamil Horo Center Fatima Abdo.

On the training, the academic player Behjat Sorour said that the evening was held to encourage the future generations to adhere to their culture and revive their heritage, pointing out that the young people are more accommodating to the musical lessons and that the trainees have outperformed the two stages. He also assured that the course will last till the trainees reach the level of professionalism.
