The Turkish occupation army commits daily crimes against the people of northern and eastern Syria, and has not stopped its attacks that started on October 9, 2019, and until now, despite the conclusion of the cease-fire agreements on October 17 between the Turkish occupation and America on the one hand, Turkey and Russia on the other hand.
The occupation had committed a massacre against a family in the village of Qurt Wêran, northwest of Manbij, on July 27, in which 6 civilians, including 4 children, were killed.
Imam Siraj al-Ahmad, one of the imams in Tirbespiyê, which belongs to Al-Jazeera region, explained that while the Islamic world was preparing to receive the blessed Eid Al-Adha, the Turkish state bombed innocent civilians and committed massacres against them, and these actions are contrary to the values and principles of the Islamic religion.
Siraj al-Ahmad stressed that the Turkish state invokes the establishment of buffer zones, but it is attacking the safer region, targeting the security of the people of the region, and explained: "We have been living for years in a spirit of love and brotherhood." He said: "The areas that fall under Turkey's hegemony lack security and peace and their residents are exposed to injustice and oppression."
Imam Siraj al-Ahmad called on Islamic clerics in Turkey to take a clear Islamic stance against Erdogan's policy and to prevent the killing of innocents in the name of religion.
