The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported renewed fierce fighting at dawn on several axes in the southeastern countryside of Idlib between the mercenary gangs belonging to Turkey on one side and the regime forces on the other, after stopping from midnight until dawn due to bad weather.
Regime forces returned to launch a new attack on the axes of Soroj, Rasm al-Ward and Istablat which witness mutual operations with mercenaries, and the violent attack accompanied by heavy shelling with artillery and rocket, which led to further casualties on both sides.
Over the past 48 hours, the Syrian Observatory documented at least 51 regime forces killed in heavy fighting southeast of Idlib, and at least 45 mercenaries were killed during the same period.
Areas of so-called De-escalation in recent days have witnessed fierce run and hit battles between regime forces with Russian support and Turkey's mercenary gangs. These battles have been accompanied by a new round of meetings of the so-called Constitutional Committee, which failed to hold its meetings due to disagreements between the regime's delegations and the Turkish delegation.
