An explosion in Afrin leaves initially 3 wounded

An improvised explosive device (IED) blew up at a gathering of the Turkish occupation army in Afrin city amid reports of 3 wounded in the ranks of the Sultan Murad mercenaries.


Sources from Afrin city told Hawar news that an IED explosion was heard on Tuesday evening at the center of Afrin city, according to reports, the explosion resulted from an IED put in a garbage bin which blew up at 17:00 in al-Siyasiya Street at the center of Afrin, particularly at a location used by the so-called Sultan Murad mercenaries as a headquarter.

Initial information notes that 3 mercenaries have been wounded till now.

The source noted that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries were at high alarm and shut roads, and 3 surveillance planes are hovering over Şêrewa district and Afrin city.
