Al-Jazeera people go to the protest square to denounce the Turkish attacks

Thousands of people of al-Jazeera region of all components have headed to the courtyard of the martyr Xebat east of the city of Qamishlo, to join the protest against the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the areas of southern Kurdistan and its violations against the people of the occupied city of Afrin.

Under the slogan "No to Turkish state's occupation from Afrin to Bradost," the Provincial Council of Qamishlo and Kongra Star organized a protest in the city of Qamishlo, involving thousands of components of al-Jazeera region and the institutions of the region.

Crowds have flocked to the square of the martyr Xebat east of the city of Qamishlo, to join the protest, to denounce the Turkish attacks on southern Kurdistan areas and the violations the occupation army commits against the people and the nature of Afrin. The protestors held pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the flags of Martyrs' Families Foundation and the Democratic Society Movement and the Syrian Democratic forces and People's and Women's Protection Units, and institutions participating in the protest.

Military forces from the Internal Security Forces and the People's and Women's Protection Units are involved in protecting protesters.

Several speeches are expected to be delivered.
