AA takes precautionary measure to prevent coronavirus outbreak

​​​​​​​The Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria has decided to prevent gatherings, close border crossings, and closing schools, institutes and universities, as a precautionary measure to stave off the threat of Corona virus.

The Autonomous Administration issued a Decision No. / 23 / through which it prohibited gatherings and entry into the areas of Autonomous Administration, as well as the disruption of institutes and schools. The text of the decision stated the following:

Resolution No. 23:

1 - To ward off the danger posed by the Coronavirus and prevent its spread because it has become a global pandemic, and as a precautionary measure that takes the following:

A_ All gatherings in the areas of the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria are canceled.

B - All schools, universities and institutes (students and teachers only) in the area of the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria are suspended from Saturday, 3/3/2020 until further notice.

2 - It is forbidden to enter any person through all the crossings of the Autonomous Administration except those who are residents of northern and eastern Syria, and it is allocated on Tuesday of each week for their entry.

3- Crossings, schools, universities and institutes will be opened by a decision of the joint presidency of the Executive Council for North and East Syria, to be issued later.

4- Decision No. / 15/27/2020 on the crossing (Semalka) will remain in effect and will remain in effect until further notice.

5- Notified to whom it is necessary to implement.
